Obituary of Kathaleen Rudd

Kathaleen M. Rudd, 87, of White Township, NJ passed away on July 31, 2017 at Warren Hospital.

 She was to born on December 14, 1929 in Haven, NJ to the late John E. and Josephine (Greil) Williamson.

Her husband Fred C. Rudd died March 27, 2003.  She was a telephone operator for West Jersey/United Telephone Co. for 29 years before retiring in 1984.  She was a 1948 graduate of Belvidere High School.  She was a lifelong member of Summerfield United Methodist Church, Warren County Chapter #128, OES of Belvidere, NJ, Warren County Cedarettes of Phillipsburg, NJ, A volunteer at Brakely Care Center and Edie’s Angels.  She enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends. 

Kathaleen is survived by two sons Stephen Rudd and his wife Bonnie, Michael Rudd and his wife Lisa both of Belvidere, NJ; three daughters, Stephanie Kruse of White Township, NJ, Patricia Daley (Frank) of Philadelphia, PA and Mary Catherine Vegh (Bill) of Danville, PA; eleven grandchildren, Brad Vegh, Brooke Vanegas, Jamie Nagle, JoBeth Pemberton, Kate Daley, Matt Daley, Brendan Daley, Cassie Rudd, Taylor Rudd, Jennifer Paulus and Uri Thatcher; Fourteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a dear friend of the family Bev Marason. She is predeceased by a grandson Zachary Daley, three sisters Doris Harms, Anne Smith and Barbara Slack, two brothers Eugene and Donald Williamson.

A viewing will be held Friday August 4, 2017 from 9-11:00 am at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.  A funeral service will be held at the Summerfield Methodist Church 68 Summerfield Road Belvidere, NJ at 11:30 am with interment following at the Summerfield Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Summerfield Methodist Church.
